Sales Vets: A Friend In Need is a Friend Indeed

July 3rd, 2009

A salesperson is only worth something to his firm if he can close deals. Part of the reason firms turnover salespeople so frequently is because bad salespeople so readily burn bridges. The best (and most successful) salespeople never burn bridges, so their job is at its most basic level trying to find people who really need what they’re selling and help them to understand why they need it.

Successful salespeople are able to find more opportunities for sales because they are willing to listen first and sell second. They listen to prospect’s specific contexts and situations and try find a way to be truly helpful with whatever product or service it is they’re selling; and if it isn’t a pitch, they’re willing to shake hands and at least take away a friendship from the conversation that can be called upon for new leads or introductions. For firms trying to figure out how to increase sales, making sure salespeople are listening to their customers is one way to change the long-run success of the sales force.

While there are a number of adjustments that can be made to sales style that will increase sales, most of these are learned through experience, and really come from just learning to understand how to listen to people, earn their trust, and deliver on promises.

For this reason, networking is one of the largest aspects of an exceptional salesperson’s life. By meeting as many people in as many different fields as possible, and through cultivating friends that form the basis for even more introductions, a salesperson not only expands his or her own pool of contacts, but also broadens their net for leads and referrals.

This approach to selling is not new, but at times seems novel to salespeople who don’t have the patience to cultivate a reputation as honest. No one is happy with the salesman who sells them something they did not really need, even if he was able to convince them that they did at the time - as many who have purchased a product from TV can attest to. By networking and cultivating friendships, successful salespeople cultivate immense stores of good will along with a broad network that can be utilized for scouting new sales opportunities, all of which increase sales.

When sales managers are asked to figure out how to increase sales, few will stop to think about their individual salespeople’s general approach. Contests, new hiring, more aggressive promotions, and plain old motivational speaking are standbys that do still have their place in sales force management.

The best sales managers know that increasing sales over the long-run is a function of good, honest business practices and constant networking.

Stamp A Contract Or Stamp Your Art: Rubber Stamps For All Occasions

July 3rd, 2009

Despite almost becoming obsolete rubber stamps are still incredibly useful. In a world of computerized typing and word processing they are still widely utilized. They have many functions in an office and even in ones day to day life.

Rubber stamps come in a wide assortment of designs and functionalities. The oldest form of the rubber stamp is the hand held rubber stamp. These are usually made with a wood, metal, or plastic handle with the stamp at the end of it. These stamps usually come with an ink pad. Once the ink dries up or runs out youll have to purchase another ink pad. The two most current introductions to the stamp market are pre inked and self inking stamps. The pre inked stamps are made with a more absorbent rubber than other kinds of stamps. The ink is only applied once and the stamp holds on to the ink for further future use. Self inking stamps work quite differently. Self inking stamps contain ink deposits inside the mechanism. When you press the stamp the apparatus inside applies ink to the stamp. In one simple press you apply the ink and make your mark.

Address stamps are convenient for people who plan to mail a large amount of items. This is especially useful for businesses. Using an address stamp is a good alternative than having to write out your address numerous amounts of times or even print it out on stickers (wasting paper and ink). Simply stamping all your outgoing mail will save a lot of time. Not only can businesses utilize address stamps but so can everyday people. An address stamp will come in handy if you need to mail many items during the holiday seasons. Rubber address stamps can make mailing out cards, gifts, packages, letters, invitations etc easier than ever.

One type of stamp that is incredibly useful in the work environment is the signature stamp. This stamp is useful because it allows you to quickly and easily endorse any kind of document. With the stamp you can simply sign checks, contracts, and invoices. You can even endorse documents while outside the office. If there is a document that needs to be signed and it is of the utmost importance but you are unfortunately not in the office you can give someone (secretary perhaps) access to your stamp. This saves an enormous amount of time because otherwise the paperwork would have to wait until you returned to become processed.

Using a notary stamp a business can turn paperwork into an official document. A notary stamp is a sign of authenticity when signing a contract. When the company stamps it they are saying that it is indeed you who has signed the document.

Custom stamps are a great way to express individuality. A custom stamp can display whatever you want. It can be your name, nickname, initials, or even an anagram. With the different choices of ink colors, font types, and borders you can truly create a one of a kind stamp. You can personalize documents, stickers, and boxes. It is your imagination run wild with it.

The rubber stamp is not an obsolete tool. It is still widely used by many different people for many different reasons. No matter what you do or where you work, you can find many uses in a rubber stamp. With the wide selection of stamps available it will make your life easier.

Social Networking: My Adventures on Twitter

July 2nd, 2009

If I been warned Twitter might occasionally be akin to a cyber office water cooler or worse high school with adults would I have gotten an account? My short answer would have been, no, No, NO! With a Follow up of, Are you crazy? I work at home to avoid those situations. Thank goodness I did not receive this warning until long after I had become part of the social networking phenomenon called Twitter. The heartfelt truth is that I would have missed out on events and people that would forever alter my life.

Why did I sign up for a Twitter account? Our local TV stations current events show used it to promote audience interaction. After months of watching and dying to respond I finally gave in and opened a Twitter account (@thehillers) so I could participate. Day one I sat staring mesmerized as all the data rapidly passed with every update. Each of the 140 character tweets containing personal messages, links to blogs, photos, products, and news left me wanting more. It was a buffet of delicious information delivered in rapid tasty bite size morsels.

I was thrilled that each tweet I sent out with a closing of Hugs & Love resulted in an increase of my follower numbers. My nightly ritual was clicking on tweets of people I thought were interesting and follow them in the hopes of being followed back. Soon I had 100, 200, 300 followers. Once I reached 500 I realized to keep from missing favorite tweets I would need Tweetdeck software. Instantly I had multiple columns of tweets streaming data in front of me and like a director choosing characters for a film I sorted those I was following into groups I could manage.

As a part of my daily routine was Twitter becoming a necessity? Oh Yes, I needed to meet more people so I could discuss animal rights, patriotism, poetry, humanitarian causes and humor. Each day I was chatting daily with a variety of interesting people who were engaging, loving and witty. An amazing group of individuals that began to feel more like a family and I looked forward to learning more about each person.

Important moments can be missed in the blink of an eye online, especially in the accelerated micro-blogging world of Twitter. Had I blinked I would have missed a wildly humorous infidelity cartoon posted by Rick London (@ricklondon). The illustration depicted a cockroach discovering a matchbook from the Roach Motel in her husbands jacket. I knew I would have to follow him next. It Turned out Rick was a master of the humorous Tweet and I looked forward to our daily exchange of puns & double entendres. From fishing to Kafka and sushi to pens and Ink every night we tried to raise the repartee limits.

A single DM (direct message) sent by Rick asking me to retweet something would set in motion an incredible series of events. I clicked on the DM (direct message) to respond when I noticed his Twitter background was a horrible gray. Ricks cartoons were fantastic and colorful so I included an offer to create a new background for him in my DM reply. He told me he had no idea which cartoons to use so I created a collage of my favorites from his website. When I contacted him 2 hours later Rick seemed surprised that I had actually followed through with my offer. The email to send the background led to phone calls as he was unable to upload it to Twitter. We spoke twice that day for an hour in an effort to ensure the layout was perfect.

I was perplexed next morning when an email arrived asking if he could call me immediately. That phone call lasted 3 hours and each day after that we spoke longer and later like old friends trying to catch up on each others lives. Our friendship grew daily while we were exchanging favorite poetry, telling jokes, writing and working on a plan for our new SEO article marketing business idea (Pen and Ink Inc.). One night while Rick was showing me how to publish an article we realized our friendship had blossomed into love. Not more than three weeks later PenAndInkInc.com was born. In cyberspace, this thing called twitter, we had built a foundation for love and a new business in which we have already gained clients; most of whom have come to us on Twitter.

Soon Rick was working on a grass roots campaign with his sister Kathy Ireland Citizens For Dame Elizabeth Taylor For The Presidential Medal Of Freedom. In the early stages, I was asked to join the Twitter campaign which filled the White House mailbox with Emails sent from (most likely) tens of thousands of fellow Twitterers within our networks and other networks connected to ours. Many stories of it appeared worldwide from MSNBC to my article in the Herald de Paris (@Heralddeparis).

A few weeks later we decide it was not good to hide our love for each other. We agreed it was time to bring our love out into the open on twitter so it would no longer be a secret we kept from our friends and acquaintances. We sent love notes in open tweets and it felt so wonderful and filled my heart with joy each day. (These are verbatim actual tweets from Twitter) @thehillers There is beautiful & there is lovely. And then there is Lee = exquisite. @ricklondon Love is trembling happiness. ~ Kahlil Gibran - I Love You, Your Lee xx00xx. @thehillers Kahlil is singing 2 us baby. I love you. Ikea’nt wait 2 cu. @ricklondon Waking up to your voice & hearing your love for me in your wit warmth & wisdom makes my soul sing I Love You, Your Lee xx00xx. @thehillers I can look at a sky full of shining stars and then your face, and in your face I see the whole universe. Love Your Rick

Could love provoke hostile behavior in others? Back to high school at fifty-one was not a thrilling idea. Of course on Twitter it was worse as its adults that were playing the games of innuendo and gossip. Even though 99.9% of our friends and acquaintances on Twitter were extremely happy for us the other 1% left me feeling betrayed with their plotting and scheming.

These detractors had a wide range of arguments about our relationship it was bad for us, bad for them, I would break his heart, he would break my heart and we cant possibly be in love we needed to date others. Their obsessive habits have included following our network of friends to gain access to sending DMs. Their concerns of course were not expressed in open tweets to us. Instead they tweet gossiped, sent DMs to us, DMs to others, left voice mail and sent emails professing their doing these things out of love for us. After weeks of a small group interfering and meddling in our relationship Ricks Sister Kathy decided to take action.

Honestly saying our engagement was nothing as I imagined it might or would ever be is an understatement. It was a nightly pattern for Rick and me to speak on the phone while typing out our final tweets of the day. Then a single tweet caught my attention and I told Rick he might want to read what his sister had just tweeted me. After a brief silence Rick said to me, Well, baby, as you know I was going to ask you anyway, but it’s a nervous time in a man’s life (to ask a woman to marry him), and it was a relief to have a third party (Kathy) do it for me. That’s what sisters are for. Will you marry me? My reply, Yes! Suddenly I was engaged to my Rick the man who loves me and as deeply as I love him.

(These are verbatim actual tweets from Twitter) @thehillers Darling Lee…Will you be my sister in law? Sending love and prayers 2U. Angel…walking in light..8:19 PM Jun 19th from web in reply to thehillers. — @kathyIreland Sis Lee says “YES!” & TY Sis 4 asking as it is a nervous thing ya know when a man asks. xx00Blessing Ur Bro & Sis In Law xx08:25 PM Jun 19th from web — @kathyireland I would Love to be your Sister In Law Rick @ricklondon just asked on phone & I said Yes Love to You, Lee & Rick xx00xx8:27 PM Jun 19th from TweetDeck in reply to ADD @ to kathyireland. As Rick reminded me that night he communicates with his Sis, author/entrepreneur Kathy Ireland often. She already had knowledge that he had planned to ask me to marry him in July. We were both thrilled by her Tweet.

Are social networks like Twitter for you? This you will have to decide for yourself. I can only say you never know what you might be missing if you dont try. My adventures in Twitterville have been blessed with true love, new family, new friends, great conversation and opportunities to help others. What could be better than that?

How To Get The Cover Letter Help You Deserve

June 26th, 2009

Creating a cover letter can be an off-putting task that can easily lead to writer paralysis and procrastination.

That is why, getting cover letter help through a professional service is never a bad idea and usually saves time. A cover letter can make the difference between getting an interview and having your resume constantly thrown in the trash bin. Creating a successful cover letter should be one of the primary goals of your job search.

What is a cover letter anyway?

Physically, It is single page document that accompanies your resume. In terms of content, it is the personal touch you add to the facts-oriented, structured resume. Its purpose is to convey your personality to the hiring manager so that she can gauge how well you will fit with the rest of the group. Think of it as that critical first impression. So when creating a cover letter, it is in your best interest to be natural sounding and personal.

Most HR people will agree that the following cover letter pointers, are correct. My experience confirms them.

Send the cover letter directly to the CEO or other influential person in the company. The fact that you used investigative skills to find information that wasn’t mentioned in the job advertisement will give you points as detective skills are always valued in the work place, even for jobs that have nothing to do with espionage. Many job hunting experts recommend bypassing the HR department where competition is fierce and where everyone is seen as everyone else. Make sure you address a specific person instead of starting the cover letter by “to whom it may concern”, or “Dear Sir or Madam”.

Organize the cover letter into three segments. In the First paragraph, do not use weak sentences like “I wish to apply for the position of advertised in “. Instead, use assertive phrases like “proven track record in completing projects ahead of time/achieving sales above expectation”. Demonstrate in the Second paragraph how well you meet the employer’s needs. Think of it as a spun version of the job advertisement. But be factual, of course. Use bullet points, when appropriate, as this makes the cover letter visually appealing. Finally, conclude the cover letter in the Third paragraph by requesting a time and date for an informal meeting. Repeat your contact information.

You are almost finished. But before you send it, use a word processor to double-check your spelling. Still, you are not done. Proof-read the page to find out if you can catch errors in meaning, undetectable by software, like “if” for “it”.

Hopefully, this article added new information into your knowledge about cover letters so that when applied, the probability of you getting the job you want and deserve, will increase. But even if it did, keep in mind that it is no substitute for cover letter help by a professional service.

Success Secrets of Network Marketing #3

June 26th, 2009

Learning the difference between spending money and spending wisely happens quickly when you run your own business. Money spent wisely is money that will gain a bigger return on your investment, and it is also money that will bring about more success for you in the future. When you are involved in a network marketing organization you are responsible for all of your expenses, and that includes how and where you spend your marketing dollars. The success of any network marketing organization is based primarily on the word of mouth advertising done by each marketing representative, but it is also a very good idea to add to your marketing efforts by developing a marketing budget and getting the word out as much as possible.

Network marketing is the act of gaining sales and exposure through the addition of new representatives to your existing network. The power of word of mouth advertising is very strong when it comes to success in network marketing, and when you augment that word of mouth advertising with other marketing plans you can increase your chances of success. But you will be spending your own money on any marketing program, so it is always a good idea to plan out your marketing ideas before you put money into executing them.

All of your activity should be focused on networking when you are in the network marketing business. Your marketing dollars are well spent becoming the member of groups of business people such as your local chamber of commerce or other local business organizations. There is usually a fee involved when joining these organizations, but the chance to get your message out to a captive audience of business people is well worth the cost to join. Invest some money in an introduction package that outlines who your company is and what your company has to offer, and be certain to circulate as many of those packages around as possible.

In network marketing you want people to remember your name and your company name, so investing in a wide range of promotional items that you can give away is always a good marketing investment. Be certain that the items you are investing in are things that people will be using on a regular basis and increase your exposure and return on investment. Promotional gifts such as pens, key chains, and sticky note pads are always appreciated by people and used on a daily basis. A high return on investment for your marketing materials means that they are getting regular exposure to a large audience of people. If you give away personalized gifts with your company name printed on them that are things people use every day, then you are getting the most out of your marketing dollars.

It takes some time, but investing in items that you know will have a maximum effect can get you the most out of your dollar. Always leave people with something that they can remember you by, and try to get as much information about your company to as many people as possible.

Shopping Carts In A Challenging Economy

June 25th, 2009

In a very short period of time we have seen some interesting changes associated with the internet. When it comes to attracting adult attention the internet sits solidly in the number 2 place behind television. Another demographic change is that adults 55 years of age and over now makeup almost one third of all internet users. This means that today, more then ever before, there is more buying power and prospects available to people wanting to buy and sell over the internet with the different e-commerce or shopping cart solutions now available. Other external factors driving on-line shopping include things such as the recent gas price increases and the move to more environmentally conscious green solutions. One more buying shift will be the change from higher income level families being more likely to purchase over the internet. Because of ease of access, a green consciousness and the cost of getting around more and more people from lower income levels will turn to the internet as well.

In 2008 over $133 B US was spent over the internet in the U.S. alone and this figure is estimated to increase to over $203 B by 2013. In Canada, by the end of 2007, $13.8 B Canadian of on-line consumer transactions had taken place with this number forecasted to grow to $22.8B by 2012. (eMarketer Feb. 2009) Considering such numbers it is safe to say that any business that has the ability to sell On-line and does not is making a strategic mistake. The good news with these growth numbers is that it is certainly not too late to take advantage of on-line shopping and buying and selling over the Internet.

Its difficult at best for anyone who reads a paper or watches or listens to the news to not be feeling down about the current economic reality. As with everything else in life however we can choose to be negative or we can search for the opportunity. And there is plenty of opportunity when we look at the internet. We know that by typing www we have almost instant worldwide fame or infamy. Its easy to get a message or advertisement out to virtually anyone who has an interest in it. When we overlay Shopping Cart technology it becomes even more powerful. Many of us would like to do more for our families and for ourselves but the economic circumstances for many is this is just not possible given what we are bringing home. Internet and e-commerce mean the possibility of multiple income streams are becoming a new option for many. If you have an idea or product and the interest to make them a reality you can also leverage a second or even third income. And the availability of many excellent Affiliate Programs means you don’t even have to have an idea or product right now. You can use someone elses product or service and represent it while you learn the e-commerce game and work on your own idea.

One of the impacts of the internet is a shift away from traditional paper based advertising methods to the internet. The associated higher costs associated with paper based advertising and the sharp eye on cost containment by financially weakened businesses is accelerating this trend. Other Social Advertising media such as Face Book, U-tube, Twitter and more are also available and their low or no cost access ads to the digital draw. Here’s why. Despite what we hear on the news about the economy we can loose sight of the fact that it is not bad everywhere. Look hard enough and you will find a bright spot, areas that continue to thrive; areas were people are still buying. The internets world wide reach means you can always gain access to that market. And as these markets of opportunity change and shift with new realities your internet and e-commerce presence means you will always be there for them when they decide to look for your product or service.

Just being on the internet ready with an e-commerce solution does not guarantee your success. If your shopping cart has auto-responder capabilities or the ability to automatically send out e-mails thanking your customers for buying and helping them get started, thats a big plus. But today’s competitive reality means you need more. Everyone is eyeing the internet as a potential safety net but as in any business the individuals working the smartest will be the ones that are most successful. First of all we have to acknowledge that there are two types of buyers. The people ready right now and the people looking to gather information for a future decision. Your success in the now market will be a function of your website, e-commerce solution and marketing strategy when they arrive at the site. Your future shoppers are more of a challenge. They are surfing to gather as much information as they can on their particular area of interest. Once theyve visited your site you need to begin a multi-media approach of educating and training them on your product or service and provide them the validation they need to accept the fact that your solution is the best and you are recognized as an expert in your area. In this case you need to engage the services of a different expert in marketing. For an example of a company with these credentials check out www.AutomatedMarketingSolutions.com. The social networks such as Face Book, U-tube, Twitter and others are excellent for staying in touch with your prospective market when you want to see how your product or service is being received, for testing ideas and to keep up to date with any negative service issues as they arise. The most important thing to remember is to not limit yourself in how you reach out to your prospects and do not limit the ways they can stay in touch with you.

Given the impressions we all may have about larger companies we can still learn much. For example a report released in February 2009 discussed the top 10 priorities CMO or Chief Marketing Officers in America were considering as their top 10 priorities for this year. Number 2 on this list was the need to develop marketing programs that integrate both the internet and their traditional media. Doing this provides advertising cost cutting and reduces other overheads. These same advantages accrue to the small to medium business as well as the entrepreneurs working out of their home. The simplicity with which an on-line enterprise to advertise, buy and sell over the internet can be set up brings it within reach of more and more of us looking for that second income. What will differentiate us and our success will be how effective we are in using these tools to attract, convert and retain.

Do you recognise any of these networking mistakes?

June 25th, 2009

If you have ever felt nervous, had an inability to speak in proper sentences or have started to sweat and go red in the face, then you will know what it is like to feel embarrassed in a social situation or business networking event.

We’ve all had it. Maybe you were the one being the butt of an ‘in joke’ and had to laugh away your mistake. Maybe you acted, or said something wrong without knowing why, in a certain social situation. Or could it have been that someone pointed out your misdemeanour to the boss. Whichever of these happened, with hindsight could they have been avoided?

Most embarrassing moments happen when you are at work or socialising and there are other people about. Mistakes we make in private tend to stay in private.

Here are just a few things to think about to help avoid those “bright red” moments:

Meeting someone for a second time, how do you greet them? Don’t think that because you have met once before that they will remember you straight away. Some people have a memory for faces others for names and some not at all. Opening the conversation with what you were talking about last time might result in “I’m sorry, but who are you exactly?”

Your mouth has greater opportunity to make you go red than your ears do.
An open mouth is a dangerous one. As the husband of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said “It is better to keep one’s mouth that and be thought of a fool than open it and remove all doubt”

It is good to be chatty and open when you go networking. Most people enjoy listening and want to hear what other people have to say. But there are several main things that you need to be careful of doing while ‘chatting’.
You should know who you are talking to and how long you expect the conversation to last. ‘Hogging the host/top person’ could lead to whispers from those around. Talking too long is frankly boring..
In these days of social networks and names and photos being blasted all around the web, how much information do you reveal?

Events with food are a minefield of embarrassment opportunities. Walking around with a plate stacked high with goodies allows you the possibility of; tripping, dropping, splashing, and tipping any or all, not only onto yourself but others around you.

Speaking with your mouthful and with a fork full for the next gulp is not a pretty sight and does not give a great impression. Unless ‘greedy pig’ is the one you are looking for.Don’t rush there will always be more than enough to go round.

Early arrival can be embarrassing and show lack or preparation especially if you then take on the wallflower syndrome and sit and do nothing until someone else comes in. Waiting until someone talks to you could mean that you are waiting all night.

Finally if you are loud, pushy and rude don’t even go to an event. Barging into other people’s conversations is not helpful and your reputation and even your business will be in the red!

Bryan Ellis on the Explosion In Virtual Real Estate Investing

June 24th, 2009

Bryan Ellis Reviews

Bryan Ellis is widely recognized as a expert in the fields of real estate investing and internet marketing, so it’s no wonder he’s regarded as a founding thinker of the new phenomenon of Virtual Real Estate Investing. I recently spoke with him about this topic:

Landlords, rehabbers and foreclosure investors, take notice - you may soon be focused on the new concepts of Virtual Real Estate Investing. Everything from using the internet as an avenue to make more money in real estate to online games such as SecondLife seem to be included in the popular definition of this term. And the pure financial potential is staggering.

In order to figure out the truth of the matter, I sought out Bryan Ellis whose experience in the fledgling industry is truly impressive.

“I began using the term ‘virtual real estate investing’ in the late 1990’s when I realized the clear similiarities in profit strategies, regardless of whether the real estate in question is ‘virtual’ or ‘physical’” said Ellis.

One example of the parallels between virtual and physical real estate Bryan Ellis cites is the similarity between the monetization of domain names versus physical property. He points out that control of a domain name or even a specific web page is much like controlling a real estate property: “those assets can be monetized in similar ways: By selling them for a profit, by leasing them, by offering advertising, etc. It’s not even necessary to own a website in order to profit from it.”

Bryan Ellis points to the example of websites like HubPages, Squidoo, Google Knol, etc. “Each of these services allows any person to write an article or create other type of content, and then allows the author to share in the revenue generated on that page. It’s almost as if you’re renting retail space in a highly desirable shopping district, only you get the benefit of a ‘great address’ in the form of a well-known domain host like Google.com but without paying a single penny in rental fees. It’s a win-win scenario.”

I must admit: Its easy to see the parallels. For example, if you’re the owner of a desirable property, its desirability is (in a business context) largely due to its being in a location that is of interest to others. Similarly, ownership of a desirable domain name is valuable for the same reasons. Regardless of the type of asset, you can sell or lease or use any number of strategies to turn the assets into cash.

In our next installment of this series on virtual real estate investing, Bryan Ellis will share the internet analogies to the physical concept of real estate development.

The Blackberry Curve 8300 Not For Everyone

June 24th, 2009

There are many phones available in the market right now. With such a plethora of choices one might have a hard time deciding what phone is right for them. One such company offering a wide array of choices is Blackberry. Each Blackberry has a numerous amounts of unique functions. This might make choosing a Blackberry phone hard. But the RIM Blackberry Curve 8300 is a great phone for anyone working in a business setting. The phone is absent of any media streaming capabilities. While this may deter some casual phone users, the phones clear focus on business applications make it great for anyone working for a large organization.

For starters the 8300 offers a full QWERTY keyboard. As opposed to the older models this model features keys which are farther spaced apart and aren’t flush with the device. Meaning you wont have any trouble typing messages on the keyboard. The phone also includes an automatic spell check (which can be switched off) on all emails, messages, memos, etc. This is a great feature for those sending out important business related material and doesn’t want to embarrass him or herself with a message containing spelling errors. As well as the typing functionality the trackball navigator makes the phone a breeze to use.

Another great feature beneficial to anyone working for a business is that the phone is able to link up with the companies Blackberry Enterprise Server. This allows the user to send and receive corporate emails. In addition, any user who is on the enterprise server will be able to open any file format recognized by Microsoft Office. They will be able to view contracts and business proposals typed up in Microsoft Word, spreadsheets which were prepared in Excel, and complete Power Point presentations. Anyone on a business trip will surely be taking advantage of this amazing feature.

Anyone thinking about purchasing the Blackberry Curve 8300 should remember that there is no support for any media streaming. This comes at a huge disappointment when one looks at the great service found in V Cast technology. The phone still works as a passable MP4 player. One can upload their music and video files into flash cards and play their files that way. With no 3G support the web browsing suffers. Certain websites take a while to load and in general browsing the web is rather slow.

The camera found on the phone is also passable. It offers the standard image capturing options. The picture quality is adequate. Also the phone cannot record any video. This feature was seldom used by business people anyway.

If you are a business man or woman the Blackberry Curve 8300 is the ideal phone for you. It offers many functions which can be utilized in the corporate world and bring forth many advantages.
